Mountain Parks Electric - Clean Power Program Rebate

Mountain Parks Electric offers a $500 rebate for solar PV systems between 2–25 kW that are enrolled in net metering; you must contribute to the Clean Power Program and submit your rebate application within 90 days of connecting to MPE's system, along with a PV Watts report.

This program allows you to offer customers a $500 incentive for residential solar installations (2–25 kW) or commercial systems (2–250 kW), provided the customer enrolls in MPE's net-metering program and has completed an interconnection agreement; systems require MPE's physical inspection to verify nameplate rating, inverters, and location before net-metering activation.

The Clean Power Program, established in 1999, has distributed over $300,000 in rebates since 2011 through a $500-per-system model funded by member contributions (minimum $1/month adder to electric bills). Eligibility requires net-metering enrollment, a completed interconnection agreement, state inspection, and MPE's on-site verification; the program also offers up to $30,000 in accelerator grants for larger-scale solar or clean-energy projects to expand impact beyond individual residential installations.
