Program Summary

Building Energy Performance StandardIn May, 2020, the St. Louis Board of Aldermen passed Ordinance 71132 which established Building Energy Performance Standards for municipal, residential, institutional and commercial buildings over 50,000 sq. ft. Buildings are required to reduce energy consumption as measured by site Energy Use Intensity (EUI) normalized for weather and operating characteristics.
