Georgia Power - Energy Assistance for Savings & Efficiency (EASE)

The Energy Assistance for Savings & Efficiency (EASE) program provides free energy-efficiency improvements—including attic insulation, air and duct sealing, smart thermostats, LED bulbs, and HVAC servicing—to Georgia Power customers with household income at or below 300% of the U.S. Federal Poverty Guidelines, up to $5,000 in improvements per home at no cost. To apply, call 1-877-310-5607 or visit the program website, provide proof of income (pay stubs, benefit letters, or other documentation), and if approved, a Georgia Power assessor will visit your home to recommend improvements that a contractor will then install.

Contractors participate in EASE by installing approved energy-efficiency measures (attic insulation, air/duct sealing, HVAC service, smart thermostats, and related upgrades) for income-qualified customers at no charge to the homeowner, with improvements capped at $5,000 per home. Contractors must coordinate with Georgia Power's assessor-led process: after a homeowner is approved and an in-home assessment is completed, the contractor executes the identified improvements and ensures the work meets program standards.

EASE is a Georgia Power utility program serving low-income residential customers (household income ≤ 300% of Federal Poverty Guidelines) who are utility customers; participants may verify income through multiple pathways including benefit letters from LIHEAP, Medicaid, SNAP, and other assistance programs.
