Cooking in Healthy Electrified Commercial Kitchens (CHECK) Program

The CHECK rebate program is closed to new applications.The Cooking in Healthy Electrified Commercial Kitchens (CHECK) Program provides rebates for the purchase of ENERGY STAR certified and combustion-free commercial kitchen equipment.

The program is limited to Pennsylvania-based K-12 school districts, higher education institutions, not-for-profit hospitals, restaurants, and nonprofits whose missions are geared toward community services. Note, not all commercial businesses qualify for this incentive; only restaurants. Rebates are available on a first-come, first-served basis until funding is exhausted or December 31, 2023, whichever comes first. Applicants must first listen to a recorded webinar available on the program website before applying for the rebate.
