SCE - Charge Ready Program

SCE's Charge Ready Program offers rebates to help offset the cost of Level 2 EV charging equipment in multifamily residential properties, with financial incentives provided after successful installation and documentation. Currently, SCE is only accepting new applications from sites located in state-designated Disadvantaged Communities, and equipment must be purchased after your application is approved and selected from SCE's Approved Product List. You retain ownership and control of the charging stations and can set pricing, though you'll be responsible for monthly energy costs.

The Charge Ready Program allows you to install Level 2 EV charging infrastructure in multifamily properties with rebates issued post-installation; all equipment must be selected from SCE's Approved Product List and purchased after client application approval. SCE provides Transportation Electrification Advisory Services and technical support to help customers determine their charging needs, and the company requires full agreements to be signed by December 31st, 2026. Note that applications are currently limited to sites in Disadvantaged Communities as defined by CalEPA.
