Pasadena Water and Power - Commercial Charger Incentive Program

Pasadena Water and Power offers rebates for commercial EV charging station installations: $4,000 per smart Level 2 port (or up to $8,000 with double-incentive bonuses for DC fast chargers, school sites, income-qualified housing, or disadvantaged communities), and $1,500 for non-network stations (up to $15,000 per site). To apply, submit the Commercial Charging Station Application Form with a Building Permit, then after installation provide the Incentive Program Agreement, proof of purchase, and the Building Inspector's sign-off to electrictransportation@cityofpasadena.net.

PWP's Commercial Charger Incentive Program allows you to help customers access rebates on Level 2 smart chargers ($4,000 per port) and DC fast chargers (up to $8,000 with qualification bonuses), or non-network equipment ($1,500 per unit, max $15,000 per site). Chargers must be installed on or after August 1, 2018, and a separate electrical permit from the City of Pasadena is required; coordinate with the Building Inspector to obtain the required installation sign-off document after inspection.
