Chugach Electric - Commercial EV Charging Program

Chugach Electric's Commercial EV Charging Program provides bill credits for businesses installing Level 2 (208-240 volt) or DC fast charging equipment in Alaska. Level 2 installations receive up to $1,000 in bill credits, while DC fast charging receives up to $5,000; you can install up to 2 chargers per account and apply for multiple programs at the same location, though each individual charger receives funding only once.

This rebate program enables your commercial customers to offset charging infrastructure costs through bill credits from Chugach Electric, with incentive amounts of up to $1,000 for Level 2 equipment and up to $5,000 for DC fast charging. Eligible customers can receive funding from other sources simultaneously without affecting their Chugach eligibility, and installations must occur within Chugach's service area in Alaska.

Chugach Electric administers three EV charging incentive programs targeting residential and commercial sectors: the Commercial Level 2 program (up to $1,000/account, max 2 chargers) and Commercial DC Fast Charging program (up to $5,000/account, max 2 chargers). Bill credits are distributed after installation; applicants must be Chugach members and cannot receive duplicate funding for the same charger, though stacking with other incentive sources is permitted.
