The Level 2 EV Charging Rebate Program is not currently accepting applications. When active, it provided rebates for Level 2 charging equipment installation at public-use locations on government or non-government property, as well as non-public charging at workplaces and multi-unit dwellings. Monitor the program website for reopening dates.
Pennsylvania DEP allocated approximately $9.2 million over five years for Level 2 EV charging rebates serving commercial and local government sectors. The program supported both public-access installations and workplace/multi-unit dwelling charging. As of July 2025, all funds are exhausted and the program is closed to new applications; future appropriations or program modifications would require state budget action.
