Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Rebates

Delaware offers rebates covering up to 90% of Level 2 charging station costs for multi-family residential buildings (four or more units) in designated disadvantaged areas, with maximum rebates of $5,000 per single-port or $10,000 per dual-port charger, up to $75,000 per site. To apply, register as a supplier with the state, submit a pre-approval application, get approval within 10 business days, complete installation within one year, and submit invoices for reimbursement. Note that rebates for single-family homes are not available through this program; residents should check the Energize Delaware Residential Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment Rebate Program instead.

You can help multi-family, workplace, fleet, and public-access customers access rebates of 75–90% for charging equipment and installation costs (75–85% installation reimbursement), with per-location caps of $5,000–$10,000 per charger and limits of ten charging ports or five dual-port stations. Eligible projects must have your customer register as a supplier with Delaware's eSupplier Portal, submit a pre-approval application that DNREC reviews within 10 business days, complete work within one year of approval, and submit final invoices and documentation to DNREC.Transportation@delaware.gov for reimbursement.
