Program Summary

The Can Do Colorado eBike program began in June 2020, when the Polis Administration launched the Can Do Colorado Community Challenge. As part of this initiative, the Colorado Energy Office gave $500,000 towards an eBike pilot program that increased access to eBikes for low-income essential workers. In the fall 2020 program, 13 low-income essential workers in the Dever area received eBikes. In the Spring 2021 pilot program, 4 to 6 awards of $75,000-$150,000 each were made available to public, private, and nonprofit entitites to make eBikes available to low-income essential workers across the state of Colorado.

Note: The application for the current Spring 2021 program closed on 2/25/2021.
