Program Summary

The ALT Fuels Colorado program was created in 2014, and from 2014-2018 used funding from the Federal Highway Administration's (FHWA) Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement (CMAQ) program. In 2018, ALT Fuels Colorado was allocated additional funding from a diesel emissions settlement. This funding is managed by the Colorado Energy Office, the Colorado Department of Transportation, and the Colorado Department of Health and the Environment.
