Program Summary

The Regional Air Quality Council (RAQC) and the Colorado Energy Office (CEO) have teamed up in an effort to improve air quality and encourage the use of electric vehicles throughout the state of Colorado. The Charge Ahead Colorado program provides financial support for electric vehicle charging stations (EVSE). H.B. 1198, enacted in April 2019, allows grants to be used to offset operating costs of EVSE; not yet included in current grant program. Additional grant funding of over $1,000,000 was allocated by S.B 42 and S.B 205 in Spring 2021.
