Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP)

The Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP) accelerates commercialization by providing point-of-sale vouchers to make buying better vehicles more affordable. This project was launched by the California Air Resources Board in 2009 and is a part of California Climate Investments.

The program provides vouchers between $2,000 and $315,000 on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible fleets to reduce the incremental cost of purchasing qualified electric trucks and buses
