Program Summary
Northern Virginia Soil and Water Conservation District (NVSWCD) offers Conservation Assistance Programs (CAP) which provides financial incentives for individual property owners, civic/homeowners associations or places of worship in Fairfax county, and contractors and landscape professionals. Each of these groups have separate CAP programs.Virginia Conservation Assistance Program for Individual Property Owners (VCAP):Eligibility:Property owners in Fairfax County, City of Alexandria and City of Fairfax who are experiencing detrimental impacts from storm water.
Property is not addressing any storm water management requirements imposed by the jurisdiction in which the property is locatedNew construction has a waiting period before becoming eligible.
