EPUD - Solar Electric Program

Emerald People's Utility District offers incentives to customers installing a qualified solar photovoltaic (PV) system. Systems must be 25 kW or smaller to qualify. Systems must be pre-approved by Emerald PUD for grid interconnection and net metering, must meet the acceptable solar resource requirement, and must be installed by an approved solar contractor. Current incentive rates are $0.75/W-AC, with a $3,500 maximum for residential customers and $10,000 maximum for non-residential customers. Incentives are additional to net metering credits, the Oregon Residential Energy Tax Credit, and the Federal Income Tax Credit. See the program website for further details.
