Jones-Onslow EMC - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

As a Jones-Onslow EMC member, you can earn bill credits by installing ENERGY STAR appliances like washers, refrigerators, and dishwashers, and receive rebates of $300 for heat pump water heaters (55 gallons or less) and $250 for Level 2 EV chargers installed during the program year. HVAC rebates are available for high-efficiency heat pumps and air-to-air heat pumps meeting a minimum of 16 SEER / 15.2 SEER2. To apply, fill out the rebate form for your equipment type and submit it to JOEMC, and you must be the customer of record on an active account.

Contractors can offer customers JOEMC rebates on ENERGY STAR appliances, HVAC equipment (heat pumps and air-to-air units at 16 SEER / 15.2 SEER2 minimum), heat pump water heaters ($300 for units ≤55 gallons), and EV Level 2 chargers ($250, installed in the current program year starting January 1, 2026). Your customers must hold active JOEMC accounts and complete the appropriate rebate form, which JOEMC will process and contact them about after submission.
