Program Summary

The Greater Cincinnati Energy Alliance provides loans for single family residencies and owner occupied duplexes in Hamilton, Butler, Warren, and Clermont counties in Ohio and Boone, Kenton, and Campbell counties in Kentucky. To qualify for loans, homeowners must be within the Energy Alliance service territory, adhere to ENERGY STAR® minimum standards, and the upgrade must be completed by a participating Energy Alliance home performance contractor or installer.Homewoners can review what energy efficiency upgrades are available and apply for either a 6.99% Whole Home loan (which requires a Whole Home Energy Assessment) or a 9.99% Improvement Specific loan from $1,000 - $20,000 on upgrades such as:Envelope air sealingInsulationDuctwork air sealingHeating and Cooling (Including geothermal)Water heaters (Including Solar Water Heaters)AppliancesWindows/doors/skylightsLightingSolar photovoltaics (for Whole Home Loans only)For more information see the Greater Cincinnati Energy Alliance web site.
