Program Summary

CenterPoint Energy offers commercial customers in Indiana electric rebates for the installation of certain types of equipment in newly constructed buildings through its Energy Design Assistance (EDA) program and its Design Team Service Incentive. Eligible projects will receive prescriptive incentives from Energizing Indiana as outlined in the program applications and websites. EDA EDA targets buildings that are less than 100,000 square feet. The CenterPoint Energy New Construction program offers electrical energy-saving incentives for equipment and systems that exceed Indiana Energy Code requirements or standard industry practice and are not eligible for prescriptive incentives from CenterPoint Energy or Energizing Indiana. Incentives are based on the forecast electric energy savings. Custom projects must be pre-approved prior to the project’s start. Prescriptive and Custom Incentives Eligible projects can receive CenterPoint Energy Prescriptive Program incentives. All eligible measures identified by the EDA Program are automatically pre-approved for incentives. See the Prescriptive Program application for details. Qualifying energy efficiency upgrades not covered under the Prescriptive Program may be eligible for Custom Program incentives. Alleligible measures identified by the EDA Program are automatically pre-approved for incentives. See the Custom Program application for details.
