Jasper County REMC - Residential Appliance Rebate Program

Jasper County REMC offers several rebates to residential customers for improving the energy efficiency of homes which participate in this program. Rebates are available for the purchase of efficient clothes washers and the recycling of old refrigerators, while water heater replacements are free to customers whose older units are unrepairable. Additionally, 80 gallon water heaters are also available for a reduced fee of $250.  Customers who participate in refrigerator recycling must schedule a pick-up time for old units and comply with all program requirements. Recycled units must also be in working condition.  Clothes washers must be Energy Star-qualified and meet all purchase and installation requirements.
