Program Summary

MassSAVE organizes commercial, industrial, and institutional conservation services for programs administered by Massachusetts electric companies, gas companies and municipal aggregators. These utilities include Columbia Gas of Massachusetts, The Berkshire Gas Company, Cape Light Compact, National Grid, New England Gas Company, NSTAR, Unitil, and Western Massachusetts Electric Company. The programs are available to all customers which have a facility that buys its power from one of MassSAVE's member companies. Customers must notify their MassSAVE program administrator technical representative to arrange a pre-approval process. Custom applications require documentation and pre-approval of all measures.Specific incentives exist for specific equipment, but MassSave also offers custom incentive solutions. Custom incentives are assessed by MassSave-qualified engineers. The administering utility will cover up to 50% of the engineer's expense. Maximum incentive for custom incentives is 75% of incremental cost of installed equipment. Systems eligible for incentives include:Lighting systems, includingRemote Mounted Occupancy SensorsDaylight Dimming Systems (DDS-FL)Occupancy Controlled Step-Dimming SystemsWall Mounted Occupancy SensorsWall Mounted Vacancy Occupancy SensorsPhotocell Sensors (lighting systems on 24/7)High Bay Fluorescent (HIF) Occupancy Control SystemsNetworked Lighting Control SystemsLED Lighting ProductsSustainable Office DesignHVAC systemsDemand control ventilationPumping systemsChillersCombustion controlsHeat recoveryFood Service EquipmentFryersEnergy Star Convection OvensEnergy Star Steam CookersHot Food Holding CabinetsIce MachinesCommercial GriddlesCommercial DishwasherPre-rinse spray valvesSolar thermal systemsSteam systemsBuilding envelopeInsulation and weatherizationWindow systemsEnergy management systemsProcess and manufacturing improvementsCompressed air systemsNew compressorsRefrigerated dryersAdditional storageZero-loss condensate drainsEnhanced controlsPiping improvementsLeak repairVariable speed DrivesCombined Heat and Power (CHP).
