These utilities include Columbia Gas of Massachusetts, The Berkshire Gas Company, Cape Light Compact, National Grid, New England Gas Company, NSTAR, Unitil, and Western Massachusetts Electric Company. The programs are available to all customers which have a facility that buys its power from one of MassSAVE's member companies. Customers must notify their MassSAVE program administrator technical representative to arrange a pre-approval process. Custom applications require documentation and pre-approval of all measures.Specific incentives exist for specific equipment, but MassSave also offers custom incentive solutions. Custom incentives are assessed by MassSave-qualified engineers. The administering utility will cover up to 50% of the engineer's expense.
