It is part of the Efficiency United and Energy Smart Programs run by Franklin Energy Thumb Electric Cooperative offers a variety of rebates to residential members through the Energy Optimization Program. Incentives are available for lighting, clothes washers, clothes dryers, dishwashers, ceiling fans, pipe insulation, ECM motors, air conditioners, water heaters and programmable thermostats. Participating members must save a purchase receipt or contractor invoice for the equipment or work completed. This information should contain the equipment type, make, model, serial number, price and date of purchase. Applications must be received within 90 days of purchase or installation.
