Lower Valley Energy - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Lower Valley Energy offers rebates for qualifying energy efficiency upgrades to your home, including heat pumps, water heaters, insulation, windows, doors, smart thermostats, and LED lighting—with available financing through Energy Conservation Works paid back on your utility bill. To get started, contact LVE's Conservation Department at (307) 885-3175 or Conservation@LVEnergy.com to verify eligibility (most programs require primary electric heat) and complete required applications before work begins. Lower Valley Energy provides rebates for residential efficiency retrofits across multiple technologies, requiring AHRI certification for heat pumps, ENERGY STAR qualification for doors, and compliance with manufacturer specifications and certified installation standards. All projects require pre-approval from LVE's Conservation Department, completed rebate forms, invoices, and supporting documentation; note that only one heat pump rebate per home is allowed unless the home exceeds 4,500 sq. ft. of heated space, and the utility reserves the right to change or discontinue incentives without notice due to funding availability.

Lower Valley Energy administers rebates funded through the cooperative's conservation budget for members in Wyoming with primary installed electric heat, covering weatherization measures (windows, doors, insulation), thermostats (line-voltage and smart), heat pump water heaters, and three heat pump types (ground-source, ductless, and air-source).
