Program Summary

Reading Municipal Light Department (RMLD) offers energy efficiency incentives to eligible commercial and industrial customers.

Customers who install qualified grid-connected renewable energy systems on their property may be eligible for a rebate of $1,200 per kilowatt (kW), not to exceed 50% of a project’s cost up to $120,000. RMLD preapproval is required. Additionally, incentives are available for air-source heat pumps, lighting, and renewable energy installations.
