Focus on Energy - Incentives for Existing Multi-Family Buildings (WPS Customers Only)

Focus on Energy offers incentives to owners of existing multi-family (4+units) condo and apartment buildings who make energy efficiency improvements.

The program offers a combination of technical assistance, prescriptive equipment rebates, and custom incentives based on the amount of energy that a project saves. Eligible equipment generally includes energy efficient appliances, HVAC equipment, building shell improvements, and lighting measures. Incentives are available for common area and building improvements, as well as certain improvements made in individual dwelling units. Focus on Energy has teamed up with Wisconsin Public Service (WPS) to offer incentives to owners of existing multi-family buildings for making multiple energy efficiency improvements. Incentive amounts differ depending on the efficiency level of the technologies. Note that WPS customers receive higher incentive amounts for improvements than the standard Focus program. To begin participating in the program, eligible building owners/managers work with a Focus Energy Advisor to perform a free energy assessment and identify suitable building improvements.
