Piedmont Natural Gas offers rebates when you replace your existing natural gas water heater or furnace with a qualifying high-efficiency model; you must be a current residential customer in North Carolina or South Carolina and submit your equipment purchase and contractor information on an application form. This program allows you to offer rebates to customers replacing existing natural gas equipment with high-efficiency tankless or tank water heaters and furnaces in NC and SC service areas; you will need to work with the customer to gather equipment details and submit them to Piedmont Natural Gas as part of the rebate application. New construction and replacements of electric or propane equipment do not qualify.
