The program distributes $1 million in annual incentives across IMEA member municipal electric systems starting each May, with individual municipalities able to set additional eligibility rules and funding caps; eligible sectors include commercial, industrial, local government, schools, nonprofits, and agricultural facilities, while pre-approval and complete single-PDF applications are mandatory before any work begins, and funding is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
