It is part of the Efficiency United and Energy Smart Programs run by Franklin Energy WE Energies offers rebates, assistance and other incentives through the Efficiency United program, which is a partnership between 11 Michigan utilities.

The program is intended to provide assistance and incentives to customers who install or employ energy efficient equipment or measures which save money and energy at home and at work. The Residential HVAC Program provides incentives to residential customers for installing energy efficient heating and cooling equipment. A $100 rebate is available for eligible central ac units and ECM blower motors. Incentives will be provided to the home owner and will be based on fulfilling energy efficiency standards.
