AEP SWEPCO - Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency Rebate Programs

This program applies to businesses, schools, and government facilities, not residential homeowners. If you operate a commercial or institutional facility in Arkansas with peak demand over 100 kW, SWEPCO offers a free energy assessment to identify savings opportunities and provides rebates for upgrades like LED lighting, HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, and EV chargers, with some efficiency products installed at no cost.

SWEPCO recommends qualified contractors to customers seeking commercial and industrial energy efficiency projects across lighting, HVAC, refrigeration, motors, custom measures, and EV charging infrastructure. You can work with customers to identify rebate-eligible upgrades through SWEPCO's Energy Advisor assessment process and leverage contractor recommendations and technical resources SWEPCO provides to support project scope and implementation.

SWEPCO administers incentives for commercial, industrial, nonprofit, school, and government customers in Arkansas with peak demand exceeding 100 kW. The program operates through free no-obligation energy assessments conducted by Energy Advisors who identify eligible measures, calculate incentives, and facilitate installation of select products; funding covers rebates for standard measures (lighting, HVAC, refrigeration, motors, EV chargers) and custom/new construction upgrades pending approval.
