Program Summary

Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) provides incentives for data centers in their service territory to improve their energy efficiency. The Data Center Cooling Controls Program targets opportunities to improve the cooling systems of data centers with an area of 5,000+ square feet. Eligible sites can have a cooling operations assessment performed by qualified engineering professionals at no cost. If opportunities exist, the data center may be eligible for financial incentives to improve the efficiency of their cooling systems. Server Virtualization applications are only accepted for government facilities after March 31, 2011.
