SWEPCO Arkansas offers rebates for Energy Star appliances (heat pump water heaters, clothes washers, programmable thermostats, LED lighting, windows), HVAC equipment (heat pumps and air conditioners), and home improvements (insulation, duct/air sealing). Eligible residential customers can also receive no-cost Home Energy Assessments and energy efficiency upgrades through the Home Performance with Energy Star program, which provides items like insulation, air sealing, power strips, and LED bulbs at no cost if you qualify.
This program creates sales opportunities for qualified installers to offer customers rebates on a wide range of efficiency products and HVAC systems, plus no-cost assessment and installation services under the Home Performance pathway that generates customer value without upfront costs. Installers must meet SWEPCO's detailed requirements outlined in the REIP Incentive Table, and multifamily properties receive an additional $15 per-unit incentive when participating in the Multifamily Pathway.
SWEPCO operates three rebate pathways: individual product rebates (appliances, lighting, HVAC, envelope improvements), the Home Performance with Energy Star program (providing no-cost assessments and installation of efficiency measures), and the Multifamily Pathway (delivering low-cost efficiency products plus $15 per-unit incentives). All rebates require minimum performance standards outlined in the REIP Incentive Table, with eligibility verification needed before payment, targeting residential, multifamily, and low-income customers across the Arkansas service territory.

Program summary
SWEPCO Arkansas offers a variety of rebates to residential customers in its service territory. Rebates are provided for energy-saving products, participation in the Home Performance with Energy Star program, or participation in the Multifamily Pathway program.
Rebates are offered to residential customers for Energy Star-approved products including heat pump water heaters, connected EV level 2 chargers, pool pumps, programmable thermostats, clothes washers, air purifiers/dehumidifiers, advanced power strips, windows and LED lighting. Additional incentives are offered for home insulation, air/duct sealing, heat pump installation and a/c installations. All rebates are contingent upon minimum requirements being met, with a detailed rebate outline shown in the above link under the REIP Incentive Table.
SWEPCO also no-cost Home Energy Assessments and energy efficiency improvements through the Home Performance with Energy Star Pathway. In addition to a home evaluation, attic/wall insulation, duct/air sealing, power strips, and LED bulbs will be provided to customers as needed. Customers must meet all requirements for eligibility to participate in the program. The Multifamily Pathway program provides a similar service to property owners. Qualified installers will install low cost energy-saving products as needed following inspection at no cost, with an additional incentive of $15 per home.
