Fort Pierce Utilities Authority - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Fort Pierce Utilities Authority offers rebates on energy-efficient upgrades including solar water heaters ($450), insulation improvements (up to $300), ENERGY STAR refrigerators ($50), room air conditioners ($150), and high-efficiency central A/C units ($500), plus natural gas appliance conversions. To apply, fill out the residential rebate form on the program website, and once approved, your rebate will be credited to your monthly electric bill. Check the program website first to confirm rebate availability before submitting, as submittal does not guarantee payment.

You can offer Fort Pierce Utilities Authority customers rebates on qualifying energy-efficient products—solar water heaters, insulation, ENERGY STAR appliances, and A/C units—by ensuring installations meet the specified efficiency standards (for example, central A/C units must have at least 14.3 SEER2 rating, limited to 2 rebates per customer). Proof of installation and/or permits are required for submission, and rebates are processed through the utility's partnership with Florida Municipal Power Association and paid directly to customers as bill credits. Verify current rebate availability and specific requirements on the program website before quoting customers.

This rebate program, administered through a partnership with Florida Municipal Power Association, offers incentives across electric and natural gas appliances with defined rebate amounts (solar water heaters $450, central A/C $500, insulation up to $300, plus natural gas conversions ranging $100–$725). Rebates are paid as bill credits once applications are processed; funding is available but not guaranteed for all submitted applications. The program targets residential customers in Fort Pierce's service territory and prioritizes high-efficiency equipment meeting stated energy ratings (e.g., 14.3 SEER2 minimum for central A/C).
