Idaho Falls Power - Commercial Energy Conservation Rebate Program

This program is for commercial and industrial customers served by Idaho Falls Power. You can receive either a zero-interest loan (up to $25,000 for up to 60 months) or a rebate (up to 50% of project costs) for lighting upgrades and HVAC improvements. To start, email the utility with "ATTN: Commercial Lighting Calculator" or call to schedule a free building audit, which is required before purchase.

Idaho Falls Power reimburses you directly for the allowable loan amount on qualifying lighting and HVAC projects; customers remain responsible for any costs exceeding the loan cap. The program requires a pre-inspection before work begins and a final inspection afterward to verify installation before the rebate check (typically 3–6 weeks) or loan payment is processed. Loans carry a $25 administration fee and $500 minimum, with a $25,000 maximum for lighting.
