Program Summary
Through the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund (CEEF), Connecticut Light and Power, United Illuminating, Connecticut Natural Gas, Southern Connecticut Gas, and Yankeegas customers offers several rebate programs for its customers. Rebate funding is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Air Conditioning Customers may receive $500 rebate for installing ENERGY STAR electric central air conditioning or electric heat pump systems. The systems must meet certain Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) and certain Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER). Installations may be on new or existing homes. Equipment must be installed by a licensed contractor. Heat Pumps Rebates are offered from CEEF for Ductless Heat Pumps and Connecticut Clean Energy Fund for Geothermal Heat Pumps based on performance measurements. Residential customers who purchase and install an air to air heat pump as the primary heat source for a unit can collect up to $1000 in rebates. Customers receiving the rebate must meet efficiency requirements stated on program website and application. See rebate form on web site listed above.
