Columbia River PUD - Residential Renewable Energy Loan Program

Columbia River PUD offers a variety of loan and rebate programs to their residential customers for making renewable energy and energy efficient improvements to their electrically heated homes. Small-scale solar, wind, and hydroelectric projects are eligible to participate in this loan program. Loans are also available for various energy efficiency improvements. Columbia River PUD has a team of Energy Experts who can provide their residential customers with a free analysis of home energy use to identify potential energy savings opportunities. Columbia River PUD offers loans with a 6% interest rate to residential customers for certain renewable energy projects. Projects with costs of more than $500 are eligible for a loan with a 6% interest rate and a maximum loan term of 84 months. After receiving approval from the PUD, customers can apply for these loan programs at any one of three St. Helen's Community Federal Credit Union branches.
