If you own a home that's at least two years old and currently heat with electric furnace, baseboard, ceiling cable, or electric thermal storage, you can get up to a $750 rebate when you install a high-efficiency heat pump rated 14 SEER/8.0 HSPF or higher. You can offer customers up to a $750 rebate on heat pump installations that replace qualifying electric resistance heat sources in homes at least two years old. The heat pump must meet the 14 SEER/8.0 HSPF minimum efficiency standard, and the work is limited to electrically-heated residential properties and new manufactured homes. Coordinate with Farmers RECC to verify customer eligibility and process rebate claims.

This rebate program incentivizes switching from electric resistance heating (furnaces, baseboard, ceiling cable, and ETS systems) to high-efficiency heat pumps in existing member homes at least two years old and new manufactured homes. The rebate is capped at $750 per qualifying installation and requires the heat pump to meet a minimum 14 SEER/8.0 HSPF efficiency rating.
