Program Summary

New Hampshire Electric Co-op (NHEC) is offering rebates for residential and commercial/government grid-tied solar photovoltaic (PV) systems up to one megawatt (MW) in capacity. The rebate is equal to $0.25 per DC Watt. For residential systems, the maximum award is $1,375; for commercial systems, the maximum award is the lesser of 15% of the system cost or $10,000. Funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis.Systems must be pre-approved, installed, operating, and inspected to receive the incentive. Renewable energy certificates (RECs) produced by participants' systems are owned by NHEC. However, instead of receiving the incentive, a customer may opt to sell their RECs to NHEC at current market value. Group net metering systems are not eligible for this incentive.
