Ames Electric Department - Commercial Energy Efficiency Rebate Programs

The Ames Electric Department provides free energy audits and multiple energy efficiency rebates for commercial and industrial customers. The rebate programs available include: the Efficient Appliance Rebate Program, The Efficient Air Conditioner Rebate Program, The Power Factor Correction Rebate Program, the Commercial Custom Rebate Program, and the EV Charger Rebate Program. All programs require that the customer submit a completed application form within 60 days of equipment installation. Rebates can be submitted online via rebate portals, or customers can request to submit a paper form via mail. Contact the utility for more information.
