Efficiency Maine Natural Gas Business Program

Efficiency Maine offers natural gas efficiency rebates to natural gas business customers. Eligible equipment includes boilers, furnaces, heaters, and gas-fired commercial kitchen equipment. Rebates are available for the construction or renovation of commercial, industrial, institutional, educational, and municipal buildings. Additionally, multifamily buildings are eligible under this program if equipment upgrades serve common areas or serve two or more units. Rebates are also available for the replacement of equipment that has failed or is at the end of its useful life. For natural gas-fired boilers, furnaces, and heaters, customers must also provide AHRI Certificates for each type of eligible equipment proposed.
