Program Summary

The city of Frisco has set a goal of having all new municipal buildings meet the LEED* Silver Certification requirements. Examples of this committment include the recently completed Public Works Building, which includes two solar thermal water heating systems, City Hall, Library, Police Headquarters, and Recreation/Natatorium Center. *The USGBC LEED Rating System is a voluntary, consensus-based national standard for developing high-performance, sustainable buildings.
