You can earn $100 back on a qualifying electric water heater (50 gallons or larger), or up to $750 for a geothermal system (at $150 per ton), or up to $625 for an air source heat pump with at least 15 SEER (at $125 per ton). To apply, download the Heartland REMC rebate application, or check www.powermoves.com to see if you qualify for even better PowerMoves rebates—but you can only apply to one program, not both.

Heartland REMC members can rebate geothermal installations at $150 per ton (up to $750 maximum), air source heat pumps at $125 per ton minimum 15 SEER with ARI Certificate (up to $625 maximum), or electric water heaters at $100 for units 50 gallons or larger. Contractors should confirm customers have completed the Heartland REMC rebate application and meet the program's equipment specifications; note that Heartland REMC no longer distributes water heaters directly.
