Xcel Energy - Farm Rewiring Loan Program

Xcel Energy operates the farm rewiring loan program to help its agricultural customers install safer and more energy efficient electrical wiring. The loan program charges 3% interest with terms of up to 5 years. Loans can only be used to cover costs not already covered by other programs such as those offered by Wisconsin Focus on Energy. The loans may also be combined with a similar rewiring grant program offered by the utility. Energy conservation measures recommended or pre-approved with a rewiring project may also be eligible for Xcel's farm rewiring grants.
