Lane Electric offers no-interest loans or cash grants covering up to 25% of weatherization costs (up to $1,000) for improvements like insulation, windows, and air sealing; if you qualify under LIHEAP income guidelines, you can receive additional cash grants for these measures. You can also get an $800 rebate for a new ductless heat pump or a $900 instant rebate on heat pump water heaters, with one weatherization and one heat pump incentive available per calendar year on a first-come, first-served basis.

Lane Electric pays contractors upon final inspection and approval of installed weatherization and HVAC measures; incentive levels vary by equipment type for commercial lighting, building shell, and HVAC work. Contractors should note that members are limited to one weatherization incentive and one heat pump incentive per calendar year, and all programs operate on available funding until yearly funds are exhausted.
