Habersham EMC - Energy Efficient Loan Program

Habersham Electric Membership Corporation (EMC) is an electric cooperative that provides service to 32,000 customers in northeastern Georgia, including Rabun, Habersham, White, Hall, Lumpkin and Stephens counties. Habersham EMC offers an ERC loan program with a 0% - 5% interest rate for customers to upgrade homes to be more energy efficient. Financing for projects greater than repaid within five years can be repaid interest free, while loans from five to ten years are repaid at a 5% rate.Loans may be used to upgrade heat pumps, windows, door and insulation. Customers may also qualify for a rebate as part of the Touchstone Energy Home Program. For more information about these programs, contact Habersham EMC.
