Cowlitz County PUD - H2 AdvantagePlus Residential Heat Pump Program

Cowlitz County PUD will provide rebates to customer homeowners who have a PUD-qualified heat pump dealer upgrade their heating system with the installation of a premium efficiency heat pump system, in accordance with the PUD’s installation standards, and who upgrade their ductwork to meet the PTCS duct sealing requirements. New an replacement heat pump incentives are as follows:  With 50% or more of ducts in unheated areas (including the required upgrade of the duct system to meet PTCS duct sealing standards): $900  With less than 50% of ducts in unheated areas: $450  Homes over 4,500 square feet are allowed two incentives (for two heat pumps or for a very large properly sized unit): $1800 Rebates are also available for customers who convert their electric forced air furnaces to heat pumps, for duct sealing, and for the installation of heat pump controls. Customers can visit Cowlitz County PUD's web site for more information on their H2 AdvantagePlus Residential Heat Pump Program, including a list of step-by-step procedures customers need to take to apply for a rebate.
