Austin Energy's Home Energy Savings Loan Program offers zero-percent financing through December 2026 for qualifying energy efficiency projects through Velocity Credit Union, with loans up to $25,000 for 120 months. You must be licensed, insured, and approved by Austin Energy; your recommended upgrades must include at least three measures to qualify customers for the favorable loan rates.

The Home Energy Savings Loan Program is administered by Austin Energy in partnership with Velocity Credit Union and funded through the Better Buildings Grant (which caps 15-point-rate funding based on reserve balance).
