Program Summary

Wiregrass Electric Cooperative is a consumer-owned electric utility serving over 20,000 consumers in the "Wiregrass" area of southeast Alabama. Through the EC Home Improvement Program, members can borrow funds at competitive rates for various energy efficiency related home improvement projects. Local contractors are sponsored by Wiregrass Electric to do the energy efficiency upgrade and loan applications. The loan is not through the Cooperative but through the "EC Home Improvement" program.
