Program Summary

Cullman Electric Cooperative, a Touchstone Electric Cooperative, offers new home owners a $200 rebate plus $100 per electric water heater. To qualify for the New Home Rebate Program, a home must have electric water heating, clothes drying, cooking, and a heat pump. Dual fuel heat pumps are allowed under this program as well as gas logs or small gas heaters. Suggested minimum energy efficiency features include:R-30 insulation overhead R-13 in exterior walls R-19 under the floor Vinyl or wooden framed windows 13 SEER (or higher) heat pump
