Program Summary

Clarksville Department of Electricity, in collaboration with the Tennessee Valley Authority, offers financing to its residential customers to help pay for new, energy-efficient heat pumps. The loan can also cover the cost of weatherization measures prescribed by the program. Necessary changes in home wiring also qualify. Maximum amount loaned is $7500 per home ($10,000 for Advanced Technology heat pumps). The maximum term for repayment is 10 years and the current interest rate is 9.00%.
