Elk River Municipal Utilities provides rebates to residential electric customers who purchase and install ENERGY STAR rated appliances and HVAC equipment. Installation of central A/C and heat pumps must be done by a pre-approved HVAC-certified contractor. In addition to appliance rebate opportunities, Elk River Municipal Utilities also offers reimbursement for A/C tune-ups conducted by HVAC contractors.
