MidAmerican Energy - EnergyAdvantage® New Homes Program

MidAmerican Energy's New Homes Program provides builders with a comprehensive list of prescriptive measures to guide the construction of energy efficient homes and offers a rebate for complying with those standards. The offer is applicable to single family home construction within MidAmerican's distribution region. The rebates pay approximately 50% of the incremental cost of the upgrades up to $1,750, and vary depending on the type and efficiency of the equipment installed. To be eligible for the rebate, homes must fulfill the qualifications described on the 2009 specifications sheet.
